We provide time away from the worries of the world during the fishing season from 1st Saturday in November until 30th April each year. This can be arranged in a “mate’s break” with a maximum 3 EXPERIENCED fishermen, the increasingly popular “husband and wife/ partner” package or “casual guiding”.
The “husband and wife/ partner” package has become increasingly popular. For a partner not wishing to fish a day or two shared with the fishermen on the river is where you will see some of the most spectacular scenery that as a tourist passing through you would not realize exists. A walk within the area or just relaxing with a good book then joining the fishermen for a picnic lunch on the river is a good way to spend a day.
Sandy will advise on a variety walks available in and around Twizel and arrange transport to these locations.
Importantly, we also free you of the hassles of arranging transport to and from Christchurch airport, the hiring of 4wd vehicles and arranging accommodation and meals. If overnight accommodation is required www.sudimahotel.co.nz is a five minute walk from the airport.
